Anna McClean
People Partner
Anna is our part-time HR Partner who works remotely from the beautiful lake Wanaka! Working closely with the HR team she provides a wealth of knowledge and experience, having been exposed to a variety of industries during her career, including; banking, construction, food service and most predominantly the health sector, having worked for both Auckland and Canterbury District Health boards. Anna provides a range of HR support to our clients both locally and nationwide, adding value in regard to numerous employment matters.
Anna has a BCom, majoring in management and a BSc majoring in Geology from Otago University, with a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration, majoring in Human Resource Management. Anna loves working with people, helping with all kinds of people needs, and is passionate about making a positive impact in the community. She values positive working relationships based on trust, engagement, and thrives on contributing to a healthy workplace culture. Anna brings an energetic approach to her work and is always seeking ways to further her personal development.
Outside of work, some would say Anna is a bit of an athlete, as keeping active is a key part of her lifestyle and she is often found running trails around Wanaka, adventure racing, mountain biking or out exploring hiking trails with her husband and three children. She is always on the go with her children, supporting them in their endeavours and encouraging them to flourish.
Anna has travelled extensively over her years, having lived and worked in the USA, South Korea and the United Kingdom however she hails from Southland and enjoys getting back there as often as she can, especially Stewart Island and Fiordland.
