About the role

Chesters Plumbing and Bathroom is seeking a highly motivated Branch Manager with strong leadership and sales skills. In this role, you'll manage a team of 20, oversee daily operations, and drive business growth. Your key responsibility will be to lead and inspire a dedicated team, ensuring they consistently perform at their best. You will also:

  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages collaboration and ongoing development.

  • Drive business growth by identifying and implementing new opportunities.

  • Work closely with the sales team to meet targets, increase profitability, and prioritise customer satisfaction.

  • Manage day-to-day branch operations, including stock management, health and safety, and achieving financial targets.

  • Develop and implement business strategies that align with the company's objectives, ensuring long-term success.

 

Our ideal Branch Manager

We're looking for someone with strong commercial acumen, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to make informed decisions. In addition, you will:

  • Have effective communication skills and be able to solve problems efficiently to ensure timely service delivery.

  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

  • Have previous experience as a plumbing merchant Branch Manager, ideally with 5 years in the industry and established connections.
