The team at Metal Skills undertake product design, laser cutting, punching, folding, welding and powder coating, all under one roof. They are New Zealand's only single-source location for a true end-to-end manufacturing solutions for sheet metal fabricated products. Based in East Tamaki, they're in a handy location to East and South Auckland.

About the role:

The Powder Coating Line General Hand will see you work providing support to the powder coating line as well as undertaking general factory tasks as requested. You will assist in multiple areas of the business and be responsible for:

• Cleaning parts before powder coat process. (Sanding, Buffing and Chemical wipe)

• Hanging parts on powder coating conveyor

• Taking parts off powder coating conveyor

• Packing and despatching to stores as per our Standard Operating Procedure

• Working with team members to maximise productivity and efficiency

• Ensuring that work practices are in the guidelines of OSH

This is a full-time role working Monday to Thursday Night Shift (3.30pm - 1.30am)

You don't need any experience to be considered for this role, however you will:

• Have the ability to complete tasks within expected time frames

• Have strong communication skills

• Be a team player

• Have good attention to detail and organisation skills

• Be flexible to work shift work and overtime if required

• Be mechanically minded
