About the role
Acorn Manufacturing Group are always aiming for continuous improvement; and lead with honesty and transparency when working with our clients and each other. We are on the hunt for an Administration superstar who encompasses these attributes, along with our values of passion, excellence, integrity, respect, and humility.
This exciting and varied position will see you reporting to the Head of Support Services where you will provide support to the finance, operations and sales teams with the intention of keeping the workplace running smoothly.
You will also be responsible for:
Undertaking reception duties and maintaining office supplies, managing contractors, and organising meetings or events.
Planning, coordinating, and communicating monthly culture events.
Supporting sustainability initiatives and managing site health & safety systems.
Handling bookings, updates, and maintaining critical compliance manuals.
HR administration tasks, including employee records and supporting other HR related activities
Assisting team with IT setup, production forms, and more.
The ideal Administration Support candidate:
You will be motivated in your work ethic, be personable and outgoing, and have a natural ability to build strong relationships. You will also tick the below boxes when it comes to your experience and skill:
Previous experience in a Customer Service and / or Administration Support position
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (essential), and ideally Accredo
Strong organisational abilities, keen attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Able to take full ownership of tasks
Initiative-driven with a focus on achieving results and providing excellent customer service
