About the role:
Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, our Warehouse Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the warehouse, ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently. You’ll be responsible for managing our inventory, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfilment for our customers, and maintaining a safe and organised work environment for our team. This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday 7.30am – 5pm. No weekend work? Yes please!
Other Responsibilities include:
Receiving, storing, and shipping products
Overseeing and managing inventory levels, ensuring accuracy in inventory counts and resolving discrepancies
Ensuring that products are labelled, packaged, and shipped efficiently and accurately
Supervising and training warehouse staff, including assigning tasks to optimize workflow
Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless and efficient warehouse operations
Assisting in the creation and implementation of warehouse policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency
The ideal Person:
Has previous experience in a similar role or warehouse environment, with a strong focus on inventory management a bonus
Ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed.
Physically capable and comfortably able to be on your feet all day
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Is a team player, driven and self-motivated
Basic-Intermediate computer skills including Word, Excel
A current valid AP certificate is a bonus but not essential
Experience using a stock management system
A full class 1 driver license plus certification to drive a counterbalance and reach truck are highly beneficial but not a must if you are the right candidate
